And just so we’re clear, I don’t operate on a "blank check" model that leaves clients holding their breath when the invoice shows up. I work on a simple monthly retainer. All work gets charged against that retainer, and clients receive proactive updates when we hit 50% and 75% retainer usage. I do not bill overages without prior written approval. No surprises. No gotchas. Just straightforward communication.
